Ni Hao from Beijing:
We departed LAX at 9:30am March 19 and 17 hours later have arrived safely in Beijing at about 6:00pm March 20. China is 16 hours ahead of California.
We are all here safe and well, a little travel weary at the moment. Everyone in our group except one couple was all on the same plane. So we took advantage of some of the flight hours to mingle in front of the lavatories and get to know each other.
Our flight path took us up over Alaska and Siberia. We actually had a pretty clear view of Snow covered Mountains and Ice lake over Siberia.
Tomorrow we go to the Great Wall and try to adjust to China time. So for now goodnight from Beijing.
