March 29

Not much to report today, so we'll give you a few extra pictures.

Zhou delivered the babies passports and visa and orphan classification applications to the US Consulate this morning. Tomorrow afternoon we all go to the Consulate for the 1 minute swearing in ceremony and pick up the Visas. This is a government building so no cameras allowed. Sorry we won't have pictures of this.

So far Lexi is a very happy easy child. What we aren't certain of is if this easiness is truly her personality or if it is a survival skill she has had to develop. We won't truly know for sure until we have been home for a while. Currently she does not fuss if her diaper is wet or dirty so we have to diligantly check to find out, and if she misses her naps she does not get very cranky, maybe slightly fussy (she has not napped well the last two days because the schedule Zhou has had us on interfered with her nap times). As for sleep once she is out, nothing will wake her. We'll see how heavy a sleeper she really is when she experiences her first earthquake.

Only two more days here and then we head home. We are enjoying our time in China, I think maybe a bit more than some of the others, but it will be good to get home and figure out what routine is going to work for us as a threesome.
