Erin here:
Well this is our last post from China. We leave for home tomorrow at 9:00pm. It is a 13 hour flight with a 16 hour time difference, so we will actually arrive in LA at 6:00pm LA time tomorrow, so it will be one very long day for us. Our final post for the travel journal will be from home but please be patient if you don't see it for a day or two.
I apologize, there aren't any pictures from today. I do have a couple of group shots and then a photo of the most important paperwork of our lives, the whole reason we are in Guangzhou at all.
The consulate appt to pick up the Visa's and the swearing in was pretty short and easy. For a while we thought Lexi was going to sleep right through the whole thing. But she woke up in time to raise her right hand and say I DO. Ok, it was actually us parents swearing I DO (for the second time in our lives) but she put her hand up to and then she clapped after it was all said and done.
We are looking forward to getting home and moving forward but we will miss China.
All the babies in our group, L-R Emily Waits, Lindsey Feher, Zoey Fick-Mills, Alexia Pietrasik, Mia Rancollo, Morgan Truscott, Avery McCormick, Erika Vankerhove, and Grace Swaddling.
All the babies with their Uncle Zhou, without whom these last two weeks would have been very stressful.
