March 21

Hello from Erin:

I will never complain about smog in Los Angeles again.

Today was a busy day. We visited and walked parts of the Great Wall. We also visited a Jade factory and a Cloissone factory.

Things feel pretty surreal today. We are quite aware we are in a different country, but today felt like we were just going with the flow biding our time until Baby Day. It's hard to get into the site seeing part of this trip.

This evening we saw an acrobatics show. And I had my first squat pot experience at the theatre. There were not western commodes in the restrooms at the theatre.

We are quite tired, so I'm going to say goodnight.

Hello from Ken:

As Erin mentioned, today was a busy day. It has been very enjoyable getting to know all our traveling mates. All of us on this journey together is a great stress relief.

The sites we have seen are a continual contrast of similarities to life back home and vast differences ... the McDonald's and the Great Wall.

Tomorrow, we hop a plane. I can't even describe what that feels like.
