Apologies, most of todays excitement was caught on video, not still photos.
Well tonight is our last night as a couple and starting tomorrow everything will be all about BABY.
Today was extremely busy. We visited Tiannemen Square and the Forbidden City. It was all very interesting, I wish we had more time to wonder around the Forbidden City. Today was much easier to get into all of the sight seeing. Must be the calm before the storm. :-)
After the Forbidden City we toured a part of Old Beijing known as Ootong. We began with a rickshaw ride through very narrow streets. We then were taken to a local "Courtyard" (home villa) and invited in by the Head of the family to tour his villa and he told us a little about his family history and what life in a "Courtyard" is like. We also visited a Silk Factory and had an american lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. Happy Birthday early Tiffany.
This evening we left Beijing and flew 2.5 hours to Chongqing. Tomorrow around 1:30pm China Time we all will be united with our Daughters. We anticipate the morning to be a bit tense with anticipation and the afternoon terror filled elation. :-)
